One of the biggest advantages of the Minn Kota Ulterra 2 is its fully automatic stow and deploy system.
Instead of manually lifting and lowering the trolling motor, anglers can deploy or retrieve the Ulterra at the push of a button.
Supported control options include:
Automatic stow and deploy makes transitioning between running the boat and fishing more convenient, especially when operating from the console or when reaching the bow-mounted motor is difficult.
Electronic Power Trim
The Ulterra 2 features electronic Power Trim, allowing anglers to adjust trolling motor depth without manually moving the shaft.
Using the wireless remote, foot pedal, or supported connected electronics, the motor can be raised or lowered to maintain proper propeller depth.
This is especially useful when fishing in changing water conditions, shallow water, or situations where bow height changes with waves and boat movement.
Power Trim also makes it easier to adjust motor depth when transitioning between fishing techniques.
Built-In Humminbird MEGA Down Imaging

Important: This is the Ulterra 2 brushed 80 lb model with a 45" shaft and built-in MEGA Down Imaging. It is different from the Dual Spectrum CHIRP-only Ulterra 2 and the brushless Ulterra QUEST Q2 models. Unlike the Terrova and Ultrex models, the Ulterra features automatic stow/deploy and electronic Power Trim.
